Melissa joined AskBio in July 2021 and has quickly risen to lead its People and Culture organization by proving her value as an innovative leader who brings a balance of cultural insight and Human Resources (HR) management expertise to the team. As Chief People Officer, Melissa is responsible for managing all aspects of HR operations and the professional development of our business and scientific teams. Through AskBio’s transition into becoming a Bayer company to the significant growth of its research, clinical, and administrative staff, Melissa’s leadership has led to exceptional results in the company’s recruiting efforts. She has been a leading voice behind the creation of AskBio’s thriving culture of empowerment.

Prior to AskBio, Melissa held HR management positions of increasing responsibility at Spark Therapeutics and Shire. Melissa received her Master of Science in Human Resources and Industry/Organizational Psychology, as well as an undergraduate degree, from Villanova University.
